So you want a website? Great, I can do that. I’ve been designing websites since 1997 for universities, non-profits, and individuals.
But first, a question. Who is going to maintain it? I see far too many non-profit and small business websites that haven’t been updated since the day it was created, often because no one on staff knows how to. I build my sites on top of content management systems that allow you to keep your pages up to date without having to know anything about FTP servers, HTML code, or cascading style sheets.
I believe that the best design is not the most flashy, but the one that allows you to get your message out there. The web is a living document and your organization or business is constantly evolving – so make sure you can keep up to date.
